By using ChessCopilot (“the app”) you agree to these terms.
The service
ChessCopilot lets you scan chess positions and score sheets with your camera, analyse them with a chess engine, and save/export your games. Recognition is powered by AI and is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate — always review the recognised board/moves before relying on them.
Fair use
Do not use the app to cheat in a live, rated, or otherwise competitive game where outside assistance is prohibited (e.g. FIDE/USCF events). ChessCopilot is for learning, analysis, and recording your own games. You are responsible for following the rules of any event you play in.
Subscriptions
ChessCopilot offers an auto-renewing subscription (with an optional free trial):
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription auto-renews at the stated price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. A free trial’s unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app, attempt to break or overload it, or use it unlawfully.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Trần Tấn Hiếu is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including inaccurate recognition or analysis.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
